Delete your Chevta account

You can delete your Chevta account and all associated records at any time. Two methods are available: directly inside the app, or by submitting a request by email if you no longer have access to the app.
Method 1: Delete inside the app
This is the fastest and most direct way. After confirmation, Chevta begins deleting your account and associated data and signs you out when the process is completed.
- Open Chevta on your phone.
- Tap More in the bottom navigation.
- Tap Privacy.
- Tap Delete account and data (or Delete all data on this device if you are using Chevta without signing in).
- Read the warning carefully. This action cannot be undone.
- Tap Delete everything to confirm.
If you are signed in to a cloud account, this removes your account and all associated records from both the app and our cloud database. If you are using the app locally without signing in, this removes all records stored on the device.
Method 2: Request deletion by email
If you cannot access the app or need assistance, you can request account deletion by sending an email to us. We will verify your identity and process the request.

Identity verification
When you submit a deletion request by email, we may reply to the email address associated with your account to confirm your identity before processing the request. This step protects your data from being deleted by someone else.
What gets deleted
When your account is deleted, we remove:
- Your account profile and sign-in credentials
- Cloud-backed sales, expenses, debts and debt payments
- Cloud-backed follow-ups and business notes
- Customer records and customer notes stored in the cloud
- Local records on the device where deletion was initiated
If you have Chevta installed on multiple devices, local records on other devices may need to be cleared separately by removing app data from those devices.
What may be retained
Some limited information may be retained where required by law, fraud prevention, security or legitimate dispute resolution.
How long it takes
In-app deletion begins immediately. For email requests, after we verify your identity, we will process the request as soon as reasonably possible and confirm when the deletion has been completed.
